1. INITIAL CONSULTATION / 1ST CONTACT
Jen needs to know all about your business, your project and your expectations. The quote request form is an important first step that gives Jen Mulligan Design all the information to properly understand your project and to develop an accurate quote for your project. Depending on the client’s preferences/location a short chat over coffee can also be arranged.
2. PROJECT OUTLINE & QUOTE
Jen will then get to work to put together a project outline & detailed quote as well as a few initial ideas to ensure that she fully understands your project. If you are happy with the quoted amount and have no further questions at this stage, Jen will send through an invoice for a deposit to secure your place in Jen’s schedule.
3. YOUR HOMEWORK
At this point there may be a wait time until your project can commence. While you are waiting Jen will need some homework from you so your project can be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Depending on your specific project Jen may need a Pinterest board or collage of what you are looking for in a logo/branding style and/or content & images to be included in your new website. Jen will go through what she needs from you & will supply a due date for this homework.
4. HOMEWORK REVIEW & INITIAL IDEAS
When your commencement date rolls around Jen will get in touch and review your homework. It is important that this be completed by the specified date to ensure that your project remains on schedule and most importantly, your project is completed in a timely manner. After Jen has reviewed your homework she gets down to business creating initial logo design ides and/or website layout and styling ideas. She will touch base with you during this time to ensure she is on the right track and to get feedback from you. Please ensure you reply in a timely manner.
5. LET’S GET BUSY DESIGNING
Once you have confirmed that Jen is, in fact, on the right track and has a good grasp of your style and project ideas she will get busy designing. During this stage Jen will finalise any logo, print or web design graphics & layouts. A low resolution screenshot of your design will be sent to you for final revisions. Once these revisions are completed and approved by you, your design is finalised. *The number of revisions included in each project will vary, please refer to your quote for your specified number of revisions. In the case of web design, your new website will be designed on Jen’s special development hosting which you will have access to for the duration of your project. Jen will send you through a link to this development site so you can monitor and make suggestions during the design phase.
6. PROJECT COMPLETION
Once your new design has been approved, Jen will send through an invoice for the remaining amount as quoted on the initial quotation. Once the remaining amount has been paid Jen will email you through your high resolution files and/or transfer your brand spanking new website from her development hosting over to your own domain and hosting. In the case of website design, once your new website has been transferred, Jen will send you over login details and other important information specific to your brand new website.
